This is how an artist’s bio should be.
The RIPT submission form was asking me to get all snazzy with my bio (I usually just write some line of cheap humour to do with the design) so I threw this down:
Well, originally I’m from Gallifrey but my father popped this ugly broken watch around my neck and sent me away before the Time War started, so I spent most of my youth on Vulcan, getting laughed at for not having green blood but learning a good deal about life in the verse. Then I was recruited with this company Weyland-Yutani as a “Xenofuge”, I didn’t know what that meant but I thought, ‘hey, anything beats these pointy-eared *******s!’ but of course as it turned I just spent a year running from giant bugs. I guess that’s what made me start designing stuff, I mean when I came to Earth afterwards I just needed a break and I find it’s nice to let my imagination loose, the real world is just too much!
